CAST4 : ESports

Esports, the annual gaming competition organized by Rotaract Mora as a cast 4 chapter was held successfully on the 3rd of April at the University premises from 8 am to 8.30 pm. During this competition, gamers got the chance to play Call of Duty 4 and Mortal Kombat X in the multi-player section and Need for Speed Most Wanted in the single player section. Truly it was an amazing experience for both the university students and the gamers who came from out of the university to compete with each other and to share their interests, gaming techniques and most importantly to become freinds with each other, making the main purpose of organizing such an event by Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa meaningful. More than 300 participants were there including people who were interested in watching the gamers compete for their ultimate aim. It is justful to call this event as an event from which others can get to know about the Rotatact club of University of moratuwa including the new comers to the university, and to take part in other events organized by it. Through out the event, the battle ground was filled up with cheers of the gamers and their supporters and it got more intensed when it was the time to award the prizes to the respective winners. Cod name from the Gamer.lk won the championship in Call of Duty 4 and another gamer from them was lucky to be the champion of Need for Speed Most Wanted. A student of University of Moratuwa became the champion among the gamers who played Mortal Kombat X. The prize giving ceremony was truly a happy and an enjoyable moment to all the participants. Winners won big cash prizes for their achievements. And it was obvious that all of them enjoyed every second of this competition.
