A fresh set of undergraduates join the engineering field of their choice each year, yet most of them are oblivious to what the industry expects from them when they graduate. As a remedy, Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa took the initiative to organize ‘INSPICO’, an Industrial Orientation Programme for the club members.
‘INSPICO’2015 consists of Industrial Orientation Sessions carried out for Rotaractors in their first year of study. The undergraduates were given the chance to participate in such sessions conducted by leading companies in their respective fields of study. This project was chaired by Rtr. Sandun Premachandra and Rtr. Lovindu Wijesinghe.

  • On 27th of March 2015, Undergraduates of the Department of Civil Engineering visited to a Construction Site of Maga Engineering Pvt. Ltd in Homagama.
  • Undergraduates of the Department of Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering had the chance to visit Dialog Axiata PLC. for their session on the 31st of March 2015.
    Undergraduates of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering had the opportunity to visit Lanka Tiles PLC. on the 28th of March 2015.
  • Undergraduates of the Department of Electrical Engineering were taken on their field visit to the Kelanitissa Power Station on the 28th March 2015. It was arranged by the Ceylon Electricity Board.
