MAESTRO 2021
‘MAESTRO’ is a business case study challenge competition, organized by Rotaract Mora, which is dedicated to empowering future entrepreneurs, analysts, and actuaries among today’s youth. The aspiration is to provide the talented youth of Sri Lanka with an opportunity to showcase their skills in leadership, problem-solving, and entrepreneurship by applying their actuarial skills to a real-world problem, as well as providing them with the necessary exposure to the industry and the corporate world. The team-based competition revolves around a case study of a proxy company based on which competitors faced several competition rounds that evaluated the extent of the aforementioned capabilities within them.

‘Catalyst’ is a Leadership Development Program carried out intending to enhance the leadership skills and attitudes of the newly appointed board of directors of the club.
Are You Ready? 2021
‘Are You Ready?’, organized annually by Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa in association with the university’s Career Guidance Unit, is a much-awaited occasion on the university calendar, which marks the official careers week of the university. First commenced in 1998, last year recorded the 25th “Are You Ready?”, affirming its most potent stance as the leading platform, which bridges the university’s students with the corporate elite.

The Scholar 2021
“The Scholar” is one of the latest initiatives of Rotaract Mora, in partnership with the Mosvold-Martinus Foundation. This is a scholarship program that targets first-year and second-year university undergraduates who are in need of financial assistance in order to continue their academic tenure. The ultimate purpose of this program is to enhance their living standards and help them achieve their life dreams by minimizing their financial burdens.
MentHer 2021
'MentHer' is a fresh and novel project that centers on the concept of 'women mentoring women,' which strives to inspire women in leadership positions to sustain and contribute to empowering the undergraduate women community at the University of Moratuwa to become future leaders of the Sri Lankan industry. The project is implemented to discuss and illustrate a broader overview about the industry opportunities that women can indulge in the corporate world and the unique experiences it provides them, as well as the issues associated and struggles that they must encounter when evolving through their career and how to surmount them and aspire forward stronger than before.

'MentHer' is a fresh and novel project that centers on the concept of 'women mentoring women,' which strives to inspire women in leadership positions to sustain and contribute to empowering the undergraduate women community at the University of Moratuwa to become future leaders of the Sri Lankan industry. The project is implemented to discuss and illustrate a broader overview about the industry opportunities that women can indulge in the corporate world and the unique experiences it provides them, as well as the issues associated and struggles that they must encounter when evolving through their career and how to surmount them and aspire forward stronger than before.
Data Storm 2021
Rotaract Club of University of Moratuwa, in collaboration with Rotaract Club of Faculty of Science, University of Colombo, organizes the platform 'Data Storm' for the benefit of young advanced analytics enthusiasts. 'Data Storm' was initiated in the year 2020, with the purposes of providing an opportunity for young analytical minds to showcase their set of skills in the field of data analytics, and also providing an opportunity for the specialists in the industry to witness and identify the potential of the participants. The specialty of 'Data Storm' and the reason why it is different from the typical datathons is that it is not just about finding patterns and relationships between the data provided, but also that it requires participants to interpret the ways to provide innovative and feasible solutions to the given scenario.
